Dr. Griggs DeHay

Dr. Griggs DeHay was born and raised in Brownwood, Texas, where he graduated from Brownwood High School.  He then attended Baylor University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Griggs DeHay graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, in 1976.

Dr. Griggs DeHay is married to Gay, a graduate of Waxahachie High School and Baylor University. They have two children - a son, Derek and his wife, Sarah, and their daughter, Charlotte - a daughter, Natalie, who is a graduate of Texas A&M University.

Dr. Griggs DeHay began his dental practice in Waxahachie in July 1977 following an oral surgery internship at Baylor College of Dentistry. Along with a full time dental practice, Dr. DeHay has been

very active in the community.  He is a member and past president of the Waxahachie Lions Club.  He is a member of  First Baptist Church of Waxahachie where he serves as a deacon. Dr Griggs DeHay served for twelve years on the Waxahachie school board.  Dr Griggs DeHay is a member of Masonic Lodge #90, Dallas Scottish Rite and Hella Shrine Temple.

Dr. Griggs DeHay is a member of the Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He has attended the Pankey Institute for continuing education for six years. Dr. Griggs DeHay was awarded a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in Toronto, Canada. He is committed to attending continuing education classes as well as conventions and dental meetings to continually bring the latest technologies, practices, products, and knowledge to his practice and ensure optimal dental services to his patients.
